Researchers at the Centre of Excellence in Computational Systems Biology have close collaborative links with the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology, located in the building which houses advanced facilities for the acquisition of transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic data. In addition, the research group has forged high-speed data links to access the computing facilities of the Western Australian Supercomputing Program. This unique multi-disciplinary working environment will enable the successful applicant to participate in exciting existing projects that integrate and analyse ‘omics data generated by collaborating research groups. The successful applicant will also be encouraged to develop individual systems biology projects of interest. Applicants must have a PhD in mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics or biology. Some assistance with relocation expenses (if applicable) may be negotiated with the Director.
